Rules & Regulations

  1. A student who uses unfair means during a test will be given zero marks for that subject. Repetition of the same will result in stern action.
  2. Default in the timely payment of the school fees can result in the debarring of your ward from attending school.
  3. In case of long leave, prior written permission of the Principal must be obtained. In case of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted within three days of absence.
  4. Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during regular school hours, permission to do so may be granted only by the Principal/Vice-principal.
  5. Attendance is compulsory on the first day and last working day of every academic session. Similarly, attendance is compulsory on the day school closes and on the day school opens before and after respectively Onam and Christmas vacation.
  6. Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classroom without the permission of the Principal/Vice-Principal.
  7. The school is not responsible for goods or money lost. Students are requested not to wear expensive watches or jewellery. Money should not be borrowed, lent or article of any nature exchanged.
  8. When the school is in session, the students are strictly forbidden to leave the class without the teacher’s permission.
  9. Cell phones are strictly prohibited in the school campus for the students
  10. Inappropriate magazines, books, and other printed/digital materials should not under any circumstances be brought to school.
  11. Driving motor vehicles by students is strictly prohibited. Lawbreakers in this regard will be severely taken to task. It is the duty of parents not to permit their children to drive motor vehicles.
  12. On school days and school functions, students must wear the uniforms prescribed for the season. Students should come to school clean and tidy. Students who are not appropriately dressed and students whose general appearance does not conform to the regulations prescribed by the school will be penalized.
  13. All the parents must attend the parent’s forum as and when it is conducted in the school.
  14. English is the medium of communication for all students and staff on the school premises. No leniency can be tolerated in this regard.
  15. All the students must adhere to the profile of an ideal Mapsian.
  16. Students who are absent from class must inform the school on the phone nos. 9188650876, 9633233766. Those who seek long absence may do so only after getting the consent of the Principal, by submitting a leave application for the same.
  17. Running and shouting in the building are not allowed. When using staircases and corridors all must keep to the left. Walking or standing around the office area or the visitors’ lobby shall be avoided even during recess.
  18. The school reserves the right to dismiss a student who is irregular in attendance, whose progress in studies is generally unsatisfactory, whose conduct in the school or outside is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little or no interest in the progress of their wards. Grave insubordination, discourtesy or disrespect to teachers, contempt of authority, and willful damage to the property or physical violence will result in dismissal from the school. No student is permitted to use rude, abusive or inappropriate language on the school premises.
